Hai there Peoples. I'm the Evil Nae.
By day I am graphic designer at a small t-shirt shop where I try to convince people what their design
REALLY needs is more spider-man... while accidentally winning office basketball pool thingies by alphabetizing the teams and making geeky jokes that
nobody around me gets. It is very disheartening. By night and weekend however my husband and I make up the unstoppable dorky duo of Matt -n- Nae! That is to say we go on the adventures that are our daily life and I draw a weekly comic about it.
I also occupy my time with illustrating children/YA books written by local author B.J. Schwartz. They are about a boy and his dogs (based on the authors real dogs) as they go on adventures, written entirely in beautiful verse. My first book in the series is nearly done and should be coming out soon. We are currently working on getting an online store up for the books but for the moment here's one of the dog's facebook pages --->
[link] So between my day job, a cartoon a week, illustration stuff, and all my big dreams and goals I have to work really hard to fit in my other passions... such as renaissance faires, table top roleplaying games, reading (comics, fantasy and scifi novels, and people's tweets), watching cartoons and action/adventure/scifi/fantasy shows and movies, and a comic book project of mine that is in the planning stages. So basically I have so much of a life that I don't have one. It's great!
